Rock legend Sir Mick Jagger’s designer daughter, Jade, has built herself the ultimate Asian paradise in Morjim, North Goa. The four-bedroom beach house, in Portuguese colonial style, has already proved popular with her teenage daughters, Amba and Assisi.

"This is where I’m planning to open my second boutique," reveals the former "wildish" child, who also owns a home in All Saints Road, Notting Hill. "I’ve wanted to open a relaxed shop on the beach for many years. There’s nothing better than treating yourself when you’re feeling healthy and tanned."
As well as designing jewellery, clothes and accessories, Jade works as an interior designer for property developer John Hitchcox. She flits between Goa and her four-bedroom London house and a converted Ibizan farmhouse set in 10 remote acres.

Former England football captain John Terry has sold Silverwood, the glitzy Oxshott mansion that he bought his mother, Sue, for £3.5 million in 2007. The price? £4.4 million through Savills, a £600,000 drop from his original £5 million asking price.

The six-bedroom property on Queen’s Drive is close to the Barking-born Romeo’s own palatial £5.75 million home. It was revealed last winter that he had had a four-month fling with French lingerie model Vanessa Peroncell, the ex-girlfriend of his former Chelsea team-mate Wayne Bridge. But Terry’s long-suffering wife, Toni, agreed to give him another chance.

Soul singer Craig David has found that selling his contemporary, hi-tech Hampstead penthouse is a lot harder than filling concert venues. Six months ago he put his spruce three/four-bedroom Victorian property overlooking Hampstead Heath on the market at £5.25 million. But now Aston Chase has reduced the price to a more affordable £4.95 million.

“I could fit my mum’s old council flat in Southampton into my hallway," chuckles the athletic Don Juan, whose ex-girlfriends include former Miss Manchester Francesca Neill, Colombian actress Sofia Vergara and model Louise Griffiths. Last year David spent $5 million (£3.3 million) buying another penthouse, a Miami pad near South Beach.

Feisty American newscaster Katie Couric is selling her upstate New York home for $3.2 million (£2.1 million) through Sotheby’s International Realty. She bought the listed six-bedroom colonial farmhouse, set in 40 acres of lawns in Millbrook, in 1996.

The powerful anchor of CBS Evening News recently began dating 36-year-old triathlon champ Brooks Perlin, 17 years her junior. But when accused of being "a cougar" she replied: "It’s just silly. I always say that the older woman is the prey and someone else the predator." Other Millbrook residents include Liam Neeson, Daryl Hall (of pop duo Hall & Oates) and Mary Tyler Moore.
