It seems it's not enough these days to circulate photos of a particularly precious pup around friends. Now, owners are looking to ramp up the profile of their pet on Instagram.
Some of these Instagram-famous pets seem to have more glamorous lives than a lot of us following them. Arguably nowhere more so than in New York, where among the city's 600,000 dogs a select band of social media stars has emerged.
So just who should you be following for pupdates? We’ve rounded up New York’s most Instagram-famous dogs.
Tinkerbelle is just as elegant as her name would have you believe. The "professional diva," according to her Instagram profile which boasts more than 426,000 followers, has recently been showing off plenty of peak fall content, ranging from pumpkins to pumpkin spiced lattes. The PSL aficionado rocks tiny sunglasses (although on her they're enormous) and dresses up like pizza.
Her natural habitat: Spot her in Soho, just like any chic fashion girl who loves sipping on lattes and creating seasonal Instagram content.
For those equally obsessed with Queen Elizabeth's go-to breed, Winston provides his own aesthetic. The white corgi can camouflage with towels and apparently hates walks. Spot the pup in Central Park or furiously swimming in a life vest. Perhaps you can channel Queen Elizabeth by grabbing a picture with the corgi.

Samson just might be the most famous Goldendoodle in the city. He's even the leader of a clique, hosting extremely exclusive 'doodle meet-ups. When he's not hanging at home in Brooklyn all dressed up for fall, he's jet-setting like any solid influencer with more than 753,000 followers.
His natural habitat: In the past few months, he's visited the Taconic Hotel in Vermont, spent time in Connecticut like a Stepford wife, and enjoyed lobster in Maine.
The New York-based Young King Corgi was at his most famous during the royal wedding when he made an appearance at The Plaza Hotel to prepare. While Queen Elizabeth is not his owner, he still manages to lead a pretty regal life in New York City.

Dolce is a mini golden labradoodle and a member of Samson's squad. The Brooklyn-based pooch explores the borough like any good transplant with 30,000 followers on Instagram.

Meet Agador, better known as @PoochofNYC to his 193,000 followers. The lion-like mane certainly helps, and so does his penchant for dressing up for all activities, including pumpkin picking and scooter riding. He even has an all denim ensemble he busts out on special occasions.
His natural habitat: Enjoying a glass of red wine before bed in Greenwich Village, venturing to Hell's Kitchen on his scooter, and showing off a better eyewear collection than the Hadid sisters.
