The six-bedroom Gloucestershire home shows the family flair for design. Furniture designer Thomas is the nephew of Oliver Messel, one of the foremost stage designers of the 20th century, whose collection is held by the V&A.
Thomas collaborated on a book about his uncle, titled In the Theatre of Design, with his cousin, celebrated photographer Lord Snowdon, father of royal furniture maker Viscount Linley. The Cotswolds manor house is for sale with Strutt & Parker at £2.75 million.
