After much anticipation, Apple has unveiled its latest launch - the Apple Watch 6 and Apple Watch SE.

As part of the brand's annual September launch event, the tech giants announced the newest iterations of the smart watch as well as its addition to the tablet range - the iPad Air 2020 and iPad 8th generation.

While fans everywhere may have been disappointed not to find out more about the iPhone 12, these releases will work wonders in turning your frown upside down - and even more so with our guide on how to get them for less.

The sixth in the series of watches will see the device feature all the apps that you know and love with a few clever upgrades.

Telling you so much more than just the time, you can make and take calls, see and answer messages, get news alerts, find out your schedule and track your workout and heart rate as well as stream music, turn on your lights and even unlock your front door.

So what’s new about the Apple Watch 6?

  • First things first, the line-up may be the brand’s most colourful yet with hues of blue aluminium, gold, stainless steel graphite, and red.
  • It is 20 per cent faster than previous generations.
  • There is a better energy-efficient display, but it’s easier to see the screen even in bright sunshine.
  • With ios 7, it is packed with new health features, such as a sleep app so you can track your dozing, an automated hand-washing app that monitors motion, sound and ensures you continue for the recommended amount of time, and it now measures your blood oxygen levels too.
  • The latter is probably the biggest and most epic of all; it uses red infrared light to measure your oxygen levels in just 15 seconds. This means you'll have better insight into how your body is functioning.
  • There’s all-new watch faces to personalise your device too, whether you are a surfer, photographer or just want to see all your appointments in one easy place.
  • Apple is giving its straps a complete redesign with a stretchy silicone construction that you can easily slip on and off without a clasp, buckle or any overlapping. There’s also a braided design crafted from recycled yarn and new looks for the Nike and Hermes iterations. Tech meets style beautifully.

The brand also teased that the Apple Watch SE that is packed with health features and an advanced display like the Apple Watch 6 at a more accessible price tag.

We have gathered the best deals on the Apple Watch 6 and Apple Watch SE.

Apple

You can get your hands on the latest Apple Watches directly from the brand. Choose your strap colour, case size, connectivity, and whether to add AppleCare+. You can also claim a refund of up to £200 when you trade in an eligible watch. Prices start from £379 for Apple Watch 6 and £269 for the Apple Watch SE.

EE

Over at EE, there are a wide range of deals to allow you to get your hands on the latest Apple Watch models for less. First things first, you can trade in previous models - Series 3, Series 4 and Series 5 - and save £100.

There are also data plans available for £28 a month for S6 and £20 on SE on a 24-month data plan with a £0 watch cost.

EE allows you to opt for Smart Benefits like subscriptions to Apple Music, TV+ and Arcade for the full length of your phone contract.

The network is also offering Family Member Plans with Family Setup where you can pair your iPhone to a watch of someone who doesn't have one. They can have a separate number and their own calls, text and data allowance.

Vodafone

Vodafone has launched a range of plans to best suit you. The Apple Watch Series 6 with GPS and 4G is available at £29 a month with £0 upfront or £27 a month with £19 upfront. The SE can be yours for just £22 a month with £0 upfront or £20 a month with £19 upfront. All the contracts are for a 24 month period.

O2

At O2, you will be able to opt between a range of straps, sizes and even the Nike iteration of the watch, as well as the best plan for your needs. The network is offering custom plans where you can choose how much you want to pay upfront, the length and your data allowance.

There are plans ranging from three to 36-month plans for both new smartwatch launches. For 36-months, you can pay just £19.50 a month and no upfront cost for the Series 6 with unlimited data. For the Watch SE, there are contracts at just £14.50 a month with no upfront cost and unlimited data.
