Renting in Muswell Hill

Young professionals who can’t afford to rent in Islington make the journey northwards to Muswell Hill. Also families who can’t afford to buy in Muswell Hill will rent somewhere in the catchment area of a popular primary school.
The most expensive rental home (pictured above) currently on the market is a five-bedroom family house in Cranley Gardens, available through Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, for £4,117 a month. One- and two-bedroom flats make up the majority of the Muswell Hill rental market.

One-bedroom flats range from about £950 a month - which estate agent Ashtons is asking in Kings Avenue - to £1,517 a month, sought by Hamptons for a particularly well-decorated and furnished one-bedroom flat in Woodland Rise.

Two-bedroom flats range from about £1,257, which Martyn Gerrard seeks in Dorchester Court, Colney Hatch Lane, to about £2,058 a month, which Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward is asking in Onslow Gardens.
