Renting in Kingston

Renters include students, young professionals and families who choose to live near the university, the station or popular schools.

£2,100 pcm (£485 pw): two-bedroom flat to rent in new development near Kingston Bridge

Charlotte Nuggin, lettings manager at estate agent Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward, says Kingston renters are a mix of students who want to be near the university, young professional couples who want to live close to the station, and families who want to be in the catchment area of one of the popular primary schools, in particular Latchmere and Fern Hill.

“New flats are attracting buy-to-let investors, with one-bedroom properties close to the town centre renting for up to £1,200 a month and those further up Richmond Road fetching about £1,000 a month,” says Nuggin.
