Beckhams give their west London pad a posh festive makeover
Victoria and David Beckham are thought to have splashed out £50,000 on Christmas decorations for their west London mansion.
The couple popped into Fortnum & Mason to buy three large Christmas trees, two smaller ones and a number of designer accessories that resemble diamonds.
The lavish festive makeover of their Kensington rental pad took two days to complete but didn’t hold up their busy schedules too much. Victoria, 39, and David, 38, have a creative director who is responsible for the gold-and-white-themed display.
Former Posh Spice Victoria also asked her personal assistants to scour stores in New York and Paris for the finishing touches. Specially commissioned Lalique baubles and Swarovski crystal stars, which cost £1,500 each, are said to be among the finds.
The Beckhams’ sons - Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight - and two-year-old daughter Harper won't need to visit Santa's Grotto, as they’ve got their own winter wonderland at home.
