The open-plan, flexible nature of office spaces mean they can be transformed into lateral homes for modern living. We take a property tour of some of London's existing office-to-residential conversions
Many of the capital's office buildings occupy sought-after, central London addresses that are close to a good choice of transport links. And these lateral, open-plan spaces can also be transformed into modern, flexible homes.

As hundreds of disused commercial buildings are earmarked for housing following a relaxation of planning rules, we take a property tour of some of the city's existing office-to-residential conversions to discover what sort of homes can be created from London's workplaces.
