Posh’s pal Selma sells up on Hollywood’s Sunset Strip
Actress Selma Blair has put her Los Angeles home on the market for £1.12 million.
The Cruel Intentions star, who last year gave birth to son Arthur Saint, currently lives in the Sunset Strip ranch with her fashion designer boyfriend Jason Bleick.
Built in 1922, the 3,000sq ft property has had a modern makeover. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom house, which Selma bought for £835,000 in 2004, is tucked away in a leafy pocket of Hollywood. Its outdoor patio dining area has made a great entertaining space for Selma and her friends, who include LA neighbour Victoria Beckham.
Watch this space for more news from Ms Blair. She is rumoured to be in talks to play Charlie Sheen’s therapist in new TV comedy Anger Management.
Busy bee Sam gets stuck into glam
Never let it be said that The Only Way is Essex girls are ditzy. Far from it. Take 21-year-old Sam Faiers who has just invested in her first home. She recently tweeted: “Busy bee today doing adult house moving-in stuff!! Exciting though!!”
Now she has settled into her £400,000 home she can get on with the fun bit — a suitably glamorous new décor. I predict an awful lot of pink.
The home makes for a convenient commute, being a short drive away from her Brentwood fashion boutique, Minnies.
With three bedrooms, the property offers plenty of room for a housemate — Sister Billie, best friend Harry or even boyfriend TJ are all possible candidates. As Towie is back on ITV2, you can be certain all will be revealed soon.
Jsen moves on as Lady Gaga moves in
While Lady Gaga awaits completion of an off-plan flat she is reported to have bought in Fitzrovia, fashion designer Jsen Wintle has put his townhouse there on the market for £3.15 million with Hudsons.
The six-storey Tottenham Street house, built in 1894, has been renovated with designer features and luxury fittings. From its spectacular glass stairwell to its 16ft courtyard waterfall, it’s a pad that oozes style. There is even a cinema and entertainment room as well as a decked roof terrace. With Guy Ritchie living nearby, it’s just the spot for stargazing.
The Australian’s collections have shown at Paris and London fashion weeks since 2006 and have also included several lines for Marks & Spencer under the “Jsen Wintle for Autograph” range. He counts Joely Richardson and David Walliams as fans.
