Newlyweds Keira Knightley and Klaxons keyboard player James Righton may have won praise for organising a budget wedding, but there will be no skimping on luxury at their gorgeous new marital home.
Just ahead of tying the knot, the London-based couple invested in a £2.4 million, four-storey townhouse in ultra-groovy Spitalfields. The spacious home is said to have a private cinema, a dressing room and library — and usefully for rocker Righton, a dedicated music room.
The couple, who married in France last week, apparently bought the house mortgage-free last year. Its buzzing east London location is ideal for one of the capital’s coolest couples, who are in no hurry to find a country retreat. The Pirates of the Caribbean actress recently revealed that she would prefer to split her time between city life and spontaneous trips abroad rather than settle down in a rambling rural pile.
