As Michael McIntyre’s stand-up success flourishes, so does his property portfolio. First, the popular comedian spent the profits from his sell-out tour in 2009 on a six-bedroom, three-bathroom family home in Hampstead.
Now he has celebrated earning an estimated £21 million from his Showtime tour last year by buying a second home, in the leafy Wiltshire village of Compton Bassett.
The £2.5 million farmhouse, which McIntyre shares with his wife Kitty and their young sons, Lucas and Oscar, has six bedrooms and a celebrity neighbour: Robbie Williams, his American actress wife Ayda Field and their baby daughter live nearby in an £8.5 million country manor on the outskirts of the picturesque village.
