£470,000 on feng shui? Jen, you’re worth it
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux are set to move into their Los Angeles love nest. The 43-year-old actress and her new beau have spent weeks putting the finishing touches to the four-bedroom property, which comes with its own vineyard.
No expense has been spared on the stunning pad. The Friends star and former face of L’Oréal is said to have splashed out more than £600,000 on new furniture and art, including £12,500 on lights from specialist B4 It Was Cool (b4itwascool.com). She even hired a feng shui expert for £470,000 to assist with the £6 million makeover.
Talk about A-list treatment.

Nicki seeks Buckingham palace to call her home
Eccentric R&B star Nicki Minaj has been on a home search in the UK.
She already owns properties in New York and in her native Trinidad and Tobago, but has decided Buckingham is where she wants her British base to be and she’s keen to seal a deal ahead of her UK tour in June.
How does a two-storey, three-bedroom penthouse with riverside views sound? Coopers Wharf, in the heart of the north Buckinghamshire market town, features a turret-shaped flat overlooking the River Ouse for a very affordable £425,000.
No doubt the Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded singer could put her colourful stamp on its interior.
Kevin has a serious case of the table wobbles
Kevin McCloud has a recession-savvy hobby — turning junk into furniture. “I have recently created office shelves out of old wine cases and apple crates,” he tells me.
The Grand Designs presenter’s 15th-century farmhouse in Frome, Somerset, is full of his make-do creations. “I’m a bad carpenter but I have managed to make a couple of pretty wobbly tables. My best was born out of an old wheel I found in a yard — and is very wobbly indeed.”
He also uses prototypes from his former lighting business to brighten up his home.
“The thing about being a designer is that work in progress is the definition of life,” he said. “You are always evolving.”

You could pop round to Peggy’s for a cupcake
Star baker Peggy Porschen might want to tell her clients, who include Stella McCartney, Madonna, Sting and Elton John, that her next-door neighbours are selling their gorgeous maisonette for £2.35 million through Hamptons (020 7591 7333).
The three-bedroom property is in Belgravia’s Elizabeth Street, where Lord Lucan lived before he vanished in 1974 after the murder of his children’s nanny.
The home for sale would make an ideal celebrity retreat with its nearby high-end boutiques and restaurants, and is around the corner from Peggy’s pink-coloured parlour, where her coveted confections are on tempting display.
