A Californian mansion that Britney Spears rented for two years is up for auction on November 11 with a minimum bid of just under £2.9 million.

Way to win Katie's heart?

Series three of Bafta-winning show The Only Way Is Essex has shown 48-year-old Mick Norcross (right) in a glittering new light. No longer is he branded “Kirk’s dad” but he’s a charming silver fox - well, at least in eyes of 25-year-old Maria Fowler. I wonder if the nightclub owner’s property portfolio adds to his allure?

The boss of trendy Essex venue Sugar Hut has put his four-bedroom, two-bathroom Victorian farmhouse on the market for £3.4 million.

The 16-acre estate in Bulphan, Upminster, includes the Penthouse Barn where Kirk lives, often used for filming the semi-reality programme. It’s one for serious horse lovers with 42 stables, an indoor riding arena and equine solarium.

Maybe Mick should get in touch with Lauren Goodger’s pal Katie Price, who adores horses. With her Essex friends and a host of glamorous nightspots close by, this could be the newly-single model’s dream retreat. Just a thought, Mick?
