Kutcher kisses goodbye to his Hollywood lad pad
Ashton Kutcher has been married to Demi Moore since 2005 but is only now cutting his final tie with single life - putting his bachelor pad on the market. The A-list actor bought the Hollywood home in 2004 for £670,000 and has listed it for £1.7 million.
The Sunset Strip house was a renovation challenge for the No Strings Attached star and his father Larry. As well as the compulsory home cinema, it has four bedrooms, a cascading set of pools and a two-storey wine tower for 210 bottles.
The heart-throb, who first rose to TV fame on That ’70s Show, recently sold tours of his home, with proceeds going to the Demi and Ashton Foundation, which aims to end child sex slavery worldwide and rehabilitate its victims. Good lad.
Angellica and Michael in the zone
TV presenters and newlywed couple Angellica Bell and Michael Underwood are putting the finishing touches to their £912,000 dream pad in Kingston upon Thames but are already thinking about a further addition to the home.
Michael tells me: “We’re going to concentrate on starting a family - though we still have to get a rear extension done.”
The pair, who jointly present game show The Zone, have merged their styles. Michael says: “Our bedroom has a white-and-cream scheme and a shabby chic feel to it, with a giant antique mirror filling an entire wall. But the dining room has a very traditional vibe, with antiques we have lovingly restored.”
The thrills continue in the living room for the couple, who married at the Trump SoHo Hotel in Manhattan in December. “We have a set of real New York traffic lights in the corner of the room,” says Michael. “They’re amazing.”
Out of the Priory and into Looney Tunes
Everybody needs good neighbours, so when your best pal lives next door, all the better. That is just how McFly’s newly single Dougie Poynter, who has a flat next to bandmate Tom Fletcher, must be feeling having just checked out of The Priory. Following his split from girlfriend Frankie Sandford of The Saturdays, the singer needed time to clear his head but is now ready to move on.
And Tom has just the therapy, telling friends how the pair have matey stopovers at his place. “Watching cartoons in the morning should be compulsory,” he tweets. “Some classic Looney Tunes action going down in my house.”
Big Brother pair's new love nest
After being cooped up in the Big Brother house, you would think Josie Gibson and John James Parton could cope with flat living, but the loved-up couple are feeling the need for more space.
So they are moving into a luxury duplex, part of a Victorian conversion set in 30 acres of north London parkland. And, inevitably, their life in a larger love nest is the subject of a Channel 5 reality show, There’s Something About Josie, which will air in May.
