Most mornings, as Holly Willoughby does her thing on This Morning, online searches for 'Holly Willoughby dress' or 'Where is Holly Willoughby's outfit from today' spike as women up and down the country scramble to copy the presenter's latest look.

Queen of midi skirts and adept at discovering the best high street dresses, Holly has once again put fans in a shopping frenzy this week by championing a new colour combination.

The clashing tones of lilac and buttercup yellow were all over the spring/summer 2019 catwalks and have taken over Holly's OOTDs. Through tonal outfits and bold separates, the presenter has given a masterclass in how to navigate the trend.

It all started with a holiday-ready midi dress with caped detail and delicate embroidery by London-based brand Beulah. It's still available to buy for £475.

Next came a lesson in how to wear pastel shades to the office, with Holly opting for a lavender tweed pencil skirt with rhinestone buttons from Zara.

By some miracle the skirt is still in stock, retailing for £49.99, as is the matching soft knit sweater from Pure Collections (£90).

Up next was the perfect floral frock.

The ASOS tea dress with its lilac, yellow and red flowers, cute puff sleeves and cinched in waist is the wedding guest dress of dreams - and all for only £38. Unfortunately, it has already sold out, but ASOS suggest this similar £35 silhouette as an alternative.

On Wednesday, Holly took things up a notch with a bold colour-blocking ensemble.

Pairing a vintage-inspired turmeric floral skirt by Finery London (£89) with lilac knitwear by Massimo Dutti, Holly made a sartorial statement.

Yet more achievable outfit inspiration from Holly.
