New homes in Zones 2 and 3: live in well-connected Kensal Rise and Maida Hill

Two new homes schemes have launched in well-connected Zones 2 and 3, two schemes, both called Prime Place.

Heading north from Paddington up bustling Harrow Road is a demographic journey through London: past prosperous Maida Vale, through unassuming Kensal Green — which is busily reasserting itself as a neat address for young families priced out of Queen’s Park — and on to gritty Harlesden.

Developer Willmott Dixon is targeting this varied, well-connected swathe of travel Zones 2 and 3, and has launched two schemes, both called Prime Place.

One is in fashionable Chamberlayne Road, Kensal Rise, and the other is at Maida Hill. Both are plugged into Tube stations and prices start at £510,000. Call Hamptons International on 020 7758 8487.

Nearby Queen’s Park Place is a stylish scheme of 116 apartments with interiors and an outstanding entrance foyer designed by Elle Decor’s Tamzin Greenhill.

Prices start at £535,000. Call estate agent Aston Chase on 020 7724 4724.
