Arsenal claimed bragging rights and a place in the semi-finals of the Women's FA Cup with a thumping win over north London rivals Tottenham on Saturday.

The game was goalless for 72 minutes, until England's Jordan Nobbs opened the scoring and set up a late burst from the Gunners.

Lisa Evans then claimed a remarkable late hat-trick to seal a last-four date against either Manchester City or Leicester.

USA star Alex Morgan was an unused substitute as she waits to make her Tottenham debut.

Kick-off!

We're underway in this huge FA Cup quarter-final fixture!

Here we go!

The players are making their way out to the pitch and we're about ready to go!

Having spent just one season in the fully-professional WSL, Tottenham have the chance to make a real statement here.

Kick-off is just 10 minutes away!

What a huge game we have ahead in the biggest domestic trophy in Women's football.

Arsenal have won the tournament a staggering 14 times, though they've not won in since 2016.

They can move one step closer in an intriguing north London derby against Spurs, who have never lifted the cup in their history.

A chance to reach the semi-finals... already?

You may be scratching your head, thinking 'surely, it's a bit too early in the season for a quarter-final?'

Well, you'd be right. Following the outbreak of coronavirus, the Cup wasn't able to be completed last season.

It is, therefore, being completed this season - though with the 2020-21 squads, which is why Alex Morgan is involved!

Arsenal the side in form!

Coming into the game, Arsenal are certainly the team in form having won both of their opening Women's Super League matches.

They sit in familiar territory - at the top of the table!

Tottenham, on the other hand, have just one point from a possible six.

Morgan on the bench!

The big question was whether Alex Morgan would be named in the starting XI. The US forward has been training all week and was in contention to start in her first competitive match in over a year having given birth in May.

Joint Tottenham manager Juan Amoros said: "Alex is obviously our player, we can't forget that she landed last week.

"She has been training with us for a week. She is one of our players and as everyone else can be selected to play because all the paperwork has been done.

"We will have to wait until almost the last minute."

And clearly, the decision was that she isn't quite ready to start yet.
