Make your new health regime much easier by buying a new-build London flat with a hi-tech gym on site.

Think of Wembley and you think of sport and fitness. At the Wembley Park housing scheme, there are both indoor and outdoor facilities.

Also in City Road in the heart of Tech City, The Atlas Building’s light-flooded pool is set on a mezzanine floor alongside a gym and spa. Ballymore and Oxley have unveiled plans for a 20,000sq ft leisure facility at residential centrepiece the Royal Docks, which will house a state-of-the-art gym and pool plus two studios. David Morley Architects designed the water polo arena for the 2012 Olympics and the Lee Valley Athletics Centre, and hopes to promote an active and healthy lifestyle for all ages. TOUGH LOVE Robust open-air swimmers love the pond at King’s Cross, and now local residents can temporarily escape winter’s chills in a wooden pod sauna that seats eight.
