St John’s in Wood Street, south of the city centre is a Linden Homes development on the site of the old St John’s hospital involving both converted hospital buildings and new build homes. Prices range from £239,995 for a two-bedroom flat to £362,500 for a three-bedroom terrace house.
City Park West is the mixed use development regenerating the former Anglia Ruskin University site next to the station. Developer Genesis housing association is building 500 new homes and renovating three historic buildings including the classical Anne Knight building. The development, which will include new courtyards, squares and green spaces launches in the autumn.
Canside is an office to residential development on the high street overlooking the river. Most of the 35 studios, one and two-bedroom flats are sold or reserved but there are a handful still to be released.
Beaulieu is the new 3,600 homes expansion of Beaulieu Park. The first 49 houses from developer Countryside will be launched in March next year.
