Juventus to sell Aaron Ramsey reports slammed as 'nonsense' by midfielder's agency

Aaron Ramsey's agency has dismissed reports that new Juventus boss Andrea Pirlo is not interested in the Wales international.

Ramsey moved to Italy on a free last summer on a contract reportedly worth £400,000 a week, but made just 11 Serie A starts under Maurizio Sarri as Juve defended their league crown.

Despite winning the league in his only season in charge, Sarri was axed as boss last week and immediately replaced by former Juventus midfielder Pirlo.

Reports on Monday speculated that Pirlo's appointment spelt the end for Ramsey too, with claims the 29-year-old is now free to find a new club.

He is said to be one of a handful of players facing an uncertain future, among them Gonzalo Higuain, Sami Khedira, Daniele Rugani and Mattia De Sciglio. Meanwhile, Blaise Matuidi is poised to join up with David Beckham's Inter Miami after undergoing a medical at the MLS side this week.

But Ramsey's agency has rubbished the suggestion Ramsey is surplus to requirements in Turin, responding with a simple "#Nonsense" on Twitter.
