Manchester United will wear their new kit for the first time when they face LASK Linz in the Europa League last-16 on Wednesday.

The Red Devils released their new Adidas strip for the 2020/21 campaign on Tuesday, which is inspired by the club's iconic crest.

The players will step out at Old Trafford in front of an empty stadium to debut their new look which features a threaded design on the shirt, completed with white shorts and black socks - as is tradition for United.

There won't be any fans inside the venue to see the new kit due to the coronavirus pandemic, with large gatherings still not permitted in the UK, but those watching from afar on TV will be see the new kit on the pitch for the first time.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side head into the clash knowing their place in the quarter-finals is virtually assured, with a 5-0 win in Austria handing them an unassailable advantage.

Odion Ighalo, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira all got on the scoresheet as United stormed to victory back in March.

With the tie all but wrapped up, Solskjaer is expected to field a much-changed starting XI comprised of fringe players and youth team prospects for the second leg.
