Kentish Town: new homes

New homes are being built close to Kentish Town West station, as well as some New Orleans-inspired houses and offices off Highgate Road.

Princes Park (0800 043 2523) is a controversial development of 55 (19 affordable) one-, two- and three-bedroom flats on Prince of Wales Road, next door to Kentish Town West Station, overlooking Talacre Gardens. Three private sales flats remain and prices range from £700,000 for a two-bedroom flat to £1.4 million for a seventh-floor penthouse with south-facing views.

Piano Yard (Benham & Reeves 020 7284 0101 and Pilcher Hershman 020 7399 8600) by developer London Building Group, off Highgate Road, is a mixed-use mews development of seven flats, two houses and offices designed by Chassay Studio and influenced by the architecture of New Orleans. The scheme is launching in 2014 and prices range from £750,000 to £1.2 million.
