My Chemical Romance have added a third UK date to their hugely popular comeback tour this summer.

The band have announced they will play for a third time at the Stadium MK in Milton Keynes in June after their first two dates sold out within minutes.

Earlier this month the band confirmed they would return to the UK to play just one date at the Stadium MK, first posting a cryptic photo on Twitter before following that up with an even more mysterious video which some fans guessed contained letters from the Theban alphabet.

Tickets sold out shortly after they went on sale, and MCR then announced details of a second Milton Keynes show, but these too also sold out shortly after going on sale.

But this week the band added another Milton Keynes date to their packed schedule, with tickets going on sale later this month.

Here's what you need to know about My Chemical Romance's 2020 tour...

The band will launch their worldwide tour in Melbourne, Australia on March 20 and will play a number of dates across Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

They are then heading to Milton Keynes on June 20 to play their only two UK dates, marking the band's first appearance on these shores since they played Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2011.

Tickets to the gig on June 20 sold out within 30 minutes of going on sale, but shortly afterwards the band added another Milton Keynes date to the tour.

How to get tickets for My Chemical Romance's 2020 tour

Tickets for the show on June 18 go on sale at 9.30am on Thursday, January 30 through Ticketmaster or See Tickets.

Tickets for the first two Milton Keynes gigs have now sold out.

Tickets cost £82.50, £93.50, £71.50, £49.50, plus fees.

If you're unsuccessful in getting tickets for the UK date and you're a superfan, tickets for the band's dates in Australia, New Zealand and Japan are also on sale and can be bought on the official website.

Who will be supporting the band?

While information on the band's support act for the UK-based leg of the tour is scant at the moment, what we do know is that they will be joined by Jimmy Eat World for their New Zealand and Osaka gigs.

At Download Australia, MCR are joined on the bill by the likes of Deftones, Clutch and again Jimmy Eat World, while Download Japan will see the band play on a line-up that includes The Offspring, Evanescence and, once more, Jimmy Eat World.

Fans are hoping the gig at Stadium MK will see the likes of Senses Fail, Yungblud, From First To Last, A Day To Remember, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco and Blink-182 play on the bill.

What's MCR's tour setlist?

Again, while we don't have information on their setlist, the last gig they played in Los Angeles in December saw them open with I'm Not Okay (I Promise), Thank You for the Venom and Give 'Em Hell Kid.

The set also included hits such as Helena, The Kids From Yesterday and Famous Last Words before ending on Welcome to the Black Parade.
