Horse-drawn carriages used by the royal family were stored at a depot in Farm Lane, Fulham. The site has now become The Landau, named after the famous coaches still used on State occasions.

The architecture picks up on the site’s Victorian heritage and brings 107 smart new apartments with terraces overlooking four “pocket gardens”, or communal spaces. Prices from £900,000. Call Mount Anvil on 020 7205 2657.
