Cross Hands Farm was the childhood home of artisan bakers the Baker Brothers, and is the film set for a new BBC2 drama starring Damian Lewis.

Cross Hands Farm in the Cotswolds, once part of Little Sodbury Manor, is where BBC2 is filming the screen adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall, starring Damian Lewis and Mark Rylance. It is also the childhood home of Henry and Tom Herbert, TV’s Fabulous Baker Brothers, whose Hobbs House Bakery artisan bakers and butchers in Chipping Sodbury has a big celebrity following.

£1 million: Cross Hands Farm, Little Sodbury, Gloucestershire

The 19th-century, seven-bedroom house, with a feature “star pond” in the grounds, has seen four Herbert weddings. The brothers’ parents, Polly and Trevor, are selling up after 40 years for £1 million through Hamptons.
