We are looking for 20 people with a passion for property, who are avid readers of Homes & Property, and who would like to join the judging panel for the 2014 Evening Standard New Homes Awards.

You will join industry experts to choose the very best homes and developments in London and the South-East and will be a VIP guest at the glittering awards ceremony at The Dorchester hotel in May.

A shortlist of schemes will be prepared by the experts, who will visit each site, but our reader judges will make the final decisions and choose all the winners. You don’t need any professional qualification, just a keen eye and a passion for good architecture and interior design. Your job will be to recognise the good and bad points of modern house building.

The awards cover all sectors of the industry from starter homes to swish warehouse conversions, and from family houses to luxurious mansions. Judging is completely independent - therefore applicants should have no direct connections to house builders and must not have been on the panel before.

HOW TO APPLY
If you would like to take part, tell us in no more than 150 words why you should be on the panel, detailing all relevant knowledge or experience.

You would also have to be free for a couple of hours on the evening of March 6 to take part in the selection process in Kensington, and all day on April 10 for the final judging day.

Please email your application to avril@signaturevents.co.uk before the end of February 24.
