Jeremy Kyle is set to return to screens with two programmes despite his show being axed after a guest died in a suspected suicide, it has been reported.
The presenter is said to be making a comeback with a new series of The Kyle Files on ITV next year, with bosses in talks over another show.
Ideas are being discussed for the other programme and previous shows Kyle has produced for the network are being examined, according to the Mirror.
A source told the newspaper: “The Kyle Files will be back as usual in early 2020 and another show is being sought for him.”
Kyle said he was “devastated” last month when The Jeremy Kyle Show was axed following the death of guest Steve Dymond in a suspected suicide.
Mr Dymond, 63, died around a week after reportedly failing a love-cheat lie-detector test on Mr Kyle's confrontational daytime programme.
The construction worker was found in his room in Portsmouth on May 9 after splitting from on-off fiancee Jane Callaghan.
This week Kyle refused to appear before MPs as part of an inquiry into reality TV.
The inquiry will invite a range of former participants and programme-makers to give evidence over the coming months.
Digital, culture, media and sport committee chairman Damian Collins said on Tuesday: "The Jeremy Kyle Show is an important programme we will be looking at as part of the inquiry into reality television.

"We believe that Jeremy Kyle himself should be an important witness to that, as the show is based around him as the lead presenter of it.
"We have sent an invitation to Mr Kyle through his representatives and we have received word back from them that he has declined to appear in front of the committee on Tuesday next week.”
But Mr Collins promised to pursue the matter and haul Kyle before MPs.
