Don't look down: base jumpers make giant leaps in festival of thrills and spills

Base jumpers from across the world gathered today in Kuala Lumpur for the 12th annual International Tower Jump.

They jumped from the 421-metre Kuala Lumpur Tower as part of a four-day base-jumping festival.

The event in the Malaysian capital attracted 95 professional jumpers from 18 countries including Australia, France, Austria and New Zealand.

The hair-raising festival will also stage night jumps on Friday and Saturday.
