Police in Hackney have issued an urgent appeal to trace a vulnerable missing 13-year-old girl.
Shaneil Martin disappeared from her home in Gascoyne Road, on Sunday.
Her mother discovered that that she had left the house at 2pm, and has not seen her since.
Police have said they are concerned that Shaneil may be at risk of being exploited.
Shaneil is black, 5ft 1ins with dark coloured hair, which is usually worn in the style of a bun.
She was last seen wearing a black hooded top with a zip, blue jeans and black trainers.
The last sighting of Shaneil was at 4pm on Monday, at a restaurant in Lower Clapton Road, and she is local to Hackney and frequents the Haggerston and Frampton Park areas.
Detective Inspector Paul Ridley is urging the public to assist. "Shaneil left her address on Sunday afternoon after only grabbing a few personal effects.
"She has never been away from home for this long and I am concerned about her safety.
"Her Mother is very worried and wants Shaneil to return.
"My investigation team have traced Shaniel to a local fast food restaurant and secured CCTV images of her last sighting which I am releasing to the media today in a bid to trigger any subsequent sightings or information as to her current whereabouts."
