One man is fighting for life and another wounded following a double stabbing in Wandsworth.

Police came across men fighting near the Garratt Lane Burial Ground  shortly before 5pm.

Two men were found suffering  from knife injuries. Police said one of the men’s injuries were being treated as life-threatening.

Another man at the scene in Garratt Lane, near the busy Southside shopping centre, had a head wound.

Two men were arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of GBH and affray.

Police said enquiries into the circumstances continue but the incident is not being treated as terror-related.

Road closures and an extensive crime scene are in place, Scotland Yard said.

A Section 60 Order has been authorised for the whole of Wandsworth from 17:58hrs.
