Rent Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi's former Oxford home

Oxford undergraduates seeking a pad with provenance in the city need look no further than the former home of Burma’s revolutionary leader Aung San Suu Kyi, which is available to rent.

The political freedom and human rights campaigner lived in a four-bedroom flat, now available for £4,500 a month through Carter Jonas. The 1,500sq ft upper-floor flat is in a side road north-east of the city centre, right next to the University Parks.

The study, where the Nobel Peace Prize laureate must have spent many hours planning her return to Burma to bravely lead her people to democracy, has a balcony overlooking the gardens.
