Dance duo Snakehips sound like they have a hit on their hands with the slick futuristic R&B of All My Friends. It features hot singer Tinashe and equally hot wordsmith Chance the Rapper.

Manchester indie pop band Blossoms have just announced a London Christmas gig at the Victoria in Dalston, at the same time as putting their sparkling new single, Charlemagne, on sale today.

EL VY’s debut album is out today, which sees Matt Berninger of The National finding a lighter backdrop for his weary voice. It includes the thumping groove Need a Friend, which has a new video on YouTube this week.

Grimes has finally announced a release date for her new album (next Friday) and put a video for not one but two songs on YouTube. Flesh without Blood/Life in the Vivid Dream is an energetic pop number coupled with something darker and acoustic, and the bloodthirsty video has got to be the strangest of the week.

After being a major part of the rehabilitation of Justin Bieber, Skrillex and Diplo’s collaboration Jack Ü resurrects AlunaGeorge on their new song. To Ü mixes Aluna Francis’s breathy vocals with cacophonous electronica, together with a video featuring a lot of snogging.
