An Italian Love story in Lake Como

The house has nearly 500 feet of waterfront with gardens full of vines, rose beds and a barbecue area

Beppe, who ran a successful Comobased company supplying silk for top fashion companies including Pucci and Chanel, passed away, and Mariola, a Grace Kelly double, died in 2011, two weeks before her 100th birthday. Today the house — which £3 million: house on the lake has four to six bedrooms and five bathrooms and is stuffed with photos and memories of Beppe and Mariola's family.

The children and grandchildren, 42 of them, have put it on the market through Knight Frank for £3 million.

"This house with its private lake access and beautiful gardens has so many happy memories but now that the family is spread around the world from London to the US to Como Town, we have decided to sell it," says grandson Thomas Mantero.
