Spectacular penthouses:London's luxury sky-high homes come with 360-degree views, plunge pools, and room service

A new wave of plush penthouses are popping up in the city in new skyscrapers as well as historic buildings...

Londoners with deep pockets are increasingly choosing to “live in the sky” as a new wave of residential towers with winter gardens and tiered terraces rises above the streets.

The Tower, at One Tower Bridge, is a slender skyscraper where the top four floors form a single property, and the highest level is a roofless glass-walled space with a plunge pool and outdoor kitchen.

Unsurprisingly the price is sky-high too, at £8.5million. Call Berkeley Homes on 020 7871 0011. Spectacular multi-storey penthouses are also being created in some of the capital’s historic buildings.

A triplex penthouse with soaring 44ft-high ceilings, triple-height windows and exposed roof rafters has been created at listed St Pancras Chambers, the Victorian Gothic masterpiece by architect Sir George Gilbert Scott that fronts Euston Road.
