Rising property prices and recent stamp duty hikes mean that more Londoners are choosing to renovate their homes rather than move. 

So popular is the 'don't move, improve' concept, that Channel 4's Love it or List it, presented by Kirstie Allsop and Phil Spencer, has been commissioned for a second series - with the first episode airing on Thursday 28 April.

In a series of eight episodes, disillusioned couples will decide whether to move house or stay and make improvements with the help of the experts. 

From a double-height extension adding a value of over £4 million, to a glass atrium with steel sliding doors, we take a tour of the designer homes showcasing the best in conversions, side returns and interior styling...
