Frank Lampard sticks with the three-man defence that worked so well for Chelsea in their FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester United for this evening's trip to Liverpool.

Lampard sprung a surprise by switching to a 3-4-3 at Wembley and Chelsea produced one of their best displays of the season as they blew United away.

It was the first time the Blues had used the formation since the restart and Lampard could be tempted to go with it again against champions Liverpool.

N'Golo Kante remains sidelined with a hamstring injury and the system does suit the players available to Lampard.

Kepa Arrizabalaga returns in goal after cup goalkeeper Willy Caballero played against United.

Christian Pulisic was left on the bench at Wembley with a slight injury because Lampard did not want to risk him, and the American is a sub once again with Chelsea knowing a win would secure a top-four finish and Champions League football for next season.
