Mews of Mayfair, 10 Lancashire Court, New Bond Street, London, W1S 1EY

A three-tier selection of treats, created by executive chef Michael Lecouteur, is served at the eccentric and rather charming bar and restaurant, Mews of Mayfair. The converted mews houses date back to the 18th century and once had links with the tailors of Savile Row.

Request a table in the cobbled courtyard, or in the adjoining Cartizze cocktail bar or Mews Art Gallery.
Choose from a selection of fine-finger sandwiches, such as smoked salmon poppy-seed bagels or a chicken Caesar wrap; top fluffy scones with homemade strawberry jam and clotted cream - and be sure to save space for the delicious selection of sweets, including miniature Eton mess desserts in shot glasses, mouthwatering macaroons and taster slices of Battenberg cake.
Palate-cleansing teas range from whole-leaf fresh Colombian mint to exotic Lost Malawi English breakfast tea from India.
Indulge in the Veuve Clicquot Afternoon Tea and sip from a delicate champagne coupe, topped up from time to time.

Only a stone's throw from the luxury shopping mecca of New Bond Street, Mews of Mayfair provides the perfect, relaxing spot to experience the "must do" British tradition of taking afternoon tea.
With a glass of champagne and, hopefully, a dose of sunshine, make your selections from each tier of the silver cake stand as you indulge in a little "fashionista watching" - this hidden gem is a favourite cocktail spot for the New Bond Street set.
Outdoor heaters and blankets warm things up if the temperature drops, and the attentive staff are never far away.
Traditional silver cake stands and glass-and-silver teapots tell the story of how Mews of Mayfair has taken this much-loved British tradition and reinvented it through a fashionable lens.

Request to sit outside in the pretty courtyard and watch the world go by.
Book afternoon tea at 3pm and finish off by trying one of the latest mixes at the cocktail bar. Should your sweet tooth be completely satisfied, the new drinks menu includes sour and savoury combinations to sample.

£45 for the Veuve Clicquot Afternoon Tea; £32.50 for the Afternoon Tea.
