'The Little Paris Kitchen' chef Rachel Khoo is selling her little Hackney flat

Television chef Rachel Khoo is selling her two-bedroom flat in Hackney through Currell for £435,000.

Fans of Khoo’s BBC2 series The Little Paris Kitchen will recognise her stamp in her home’s pretty tiles, countless shelves for cookbooks and baking ingredients — and in the great job she has done in making the most of the modest 539sq ft space.

Smart storage and space-saving ideas include a desk that transforms into a bed. There’s a balcony, too, though the views are more Homerton than Montmartre.

The flat is the first home Khoo bought, and she is now having to reconsider location.

“I love east London but it is too much of a pain to get to Heathrow,” she says. “I’m filming lots of TV in Australia, including Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook: Melbourne, so I plan on heading westward.”
