The X Factor is back on our screens but the contestants are yet to find out where they will be calling home if they make the live stages.

The house rented by the programme for the 2014 series, starring Fleur East and Ben Haenow, is back on the rental market if the producers are interested.

They must have liked it because boss man Simon Cowell hosted his 55th birthday at the eight-bedroom mansion, where Cheryl Cole surprised him with a large birthday cake.

Spread across four floors, the grounds are as stunning as the interiors with a spectacular manicured garden and swimming pool (pictures below).

On Lancaster Avenue in Hadley Wood, it is listed for £13,000 per month with Savills.
