A Knightsbridge flat that was home to two of The Beatles is available to let.

Ringo Starr and George Harrison, along with Harrison’s fiancée, Pattie Boyd, moved into Whaddon House, William Mews, in 1964 at the height of Beatlemania.

Beatles manager Brian Epstein lived upstairs on the fifth floor.

Epstein hosted numerous parties in the block, including one to celebrate the band’s world tour with guests including the Fab Four, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Judy Garland.

The celebrations spread to the roof of the building, where a temporary ballroom, complete with a red carpet, was set up in a marquee.

It was at the flat that the group met for a cup of tea before they went to Buckingham Palace to receive their MBEs from the Queen in 1965.

Today the three-bedroom apartment, pictures below, in a portered building, has been tastefully decorated. It is listed with John D Wood & Co at £1,600 a week.
