This canal-side palazzo apartment is one of Venice’s most coveted. It goes under the hammer on October 27 with breathtaking features.

An original Gothic façade, dating back to the 15th century, which has direct access to the waterway, an incredible reception room, dining area, large kitchen, balconies, three en-suite bedrooms, two further bedrooms and bathrooms.

As one of the finest residential renovation projects in the historic city, it was the backdrop for scenes with Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones in the new Dan Brown thriller Inferno.

The Piano Nobile apartment is on the books of Concierge Auctions, a property company that counts basketball player Michael Jordan and singer Cher amongst its celebrity clients.

The palazzo entrance is very grand with an impressive lobby designed by renowned Milan based designer Culti. While the tranquil courtyard is the work of celebrated Italian landscape gardener Marco Battagia.

Truly spectacular, it is expected to fetch upwards of £4 million.
