A family home which belonged to John Lennon in the Sixties is for sale.

The late ex-Beatle paid £20,000. Now the six-bedroom property in Weybridge, Surrey, is for sale at £8.95 million with Knight Frank.

Set in one-and-a-half acres of exquisite gardens within the prestigious private St George’s Hill estate, the house has access to the estate’s renowned golf course, tennis club and leisure facilities.

At the bottom of the garden sits an indoor heated pool, shower and sauna complex.
