Money Monster star George Clooney and wife Amal buy £10k 'love' boat for trips down the Thames from their Oxfordshire estate

George and Amal Clooney have splashed out £10,000 on a small boat for their Oxfordshire estate.

The A-list couple are still putting the finishing touches to the five-and-a-half acre Sonning pile, which they bought two years ago for a rumoured £7.5 million.

They love being close to the water and chose to marry in Venice so that Clooney could lead a parade of boats down the Grand Canal.

Now the pair can jump aboard their new love boat for rowing trips down the Thames.

With renovations expected to have cost in the region of £20 million it seems achieving your dream makeover doesn’t come cheap for the Clooneys.
