Luxury townhouse for sale with the Royal seal of approval:Regency-style home for sale overlooking the Goring Hotel listed for £6m

A recently renovated Regency-style townhouse with a wealth of carefully-preserved period features has come on to the market in Victoria Square for £6.1 million.

A long-time royal favourite, The Goring Hotel in Belgravia was where the Middleton clan pitched camp, across the road from Buckingham Palace, on the eve of Kate’s wedding to Prince William.

The Queen Mother made her last public appearance at the family-run hotel.

Now, overlooking its private gardens, a recently renovated five-bedroom townhouse has come on to the market in Victoria Square for £6.1 million, through Hathaways.

Designed by architect Sir Matthew Wyatt in the late 1830s to celebrate the start of Queen Victoria’s reign, the Regency-style house has a wealth of period features that have been carefully preserved.
