Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Duncan Bannatyne, who made his fortune in the leisure industry, is selling his surprisingly modest Lake District lodge for £320,000.

Bannatyne bought the three-bedroom retreat after splitting up with his wife and selling his glamorous villa in France.

£320,000: the three-bedroom wooden lodge overlooks Lake Windermere

It may not be the Riviera, but the wooden house has views over Lake Windermere and is in a tranquil wooded spot.

Apparently, Bannatyne is keen to sell it so he can concentrate on buying a new place in sunny Portugal.

The lodge is for sale through Cumbrian Properties.
