Donald Trump's former mansion is on the market with a £30m price tag after a make 'under'

With a distinct lack of signature Trump bling, the palatial estate in Connecticut has surprisingly elegant interiors.

Donald Trump’s former mansion is on the market.

The Apprentice star turned American Presidential candidate purchased the 20,000 sq ft home for £2.7 million in 1982.

It was passed onto his wife Ivana as part of their divorce settlement in 1992 and she sold it to the current owners for £9.5 million.

It seems the property in Connecticut has undergone a make ‘under’ as there is a distinct lack of signature Trump bling.

The surprisingly elegant interiors include a wood-panelled library, a cinema and and two pools; one indoor and one outdoor.

The crisp white exterior creates a chic style and the grounds comprise a tennis court, putting green, guest house and dock.

Back on the market for £30 million, the palatial estate is seeking a big money buyer.
