Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has sold his home in LA and made a killing.
The British singer bought his five-bedroom LA property six months before his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow announced their ‘conscious uncoupling’ in 2014.
The house allowed Martin to stay living close to the couple's children Apple and Moses - it is across the road from the mansion he had shared with the actress.

The grounds stretch to more than half an acre and include tree-shaded gardens and a lagoon-style swimming pool with a waterfall.
Martin has nearly doubled his money in just two years with the sale.
He bought the house for £4.7 million and has now sold it for £8.4 million in an off-market deal.
