Calling all Great British Bake Off fans:Mary Berry's former home in Bucks - where she served 1,000 dinners - is for sale

Berry’s old family home in the village of Penn, Buckinghamshire, is on the market for £3 million.

The wait is over for fans of The Great British Bake Off. The new series starts tonight, when judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood will no doubt be whipping the new contestants into shape.

Aficionados will be keen to know that Berry’s old family home in the village of Penn, Buckinghamshire, is on the market.

Much of her early TV work was filmed in the kitchen at The Red House and the property featured recently on BBC2’s The Mary Berry Story.

The 3,455sq ft, six-bedroom home has a dining room where Berry served 1,000 dinners, a coach house in the grounds with garage, workshop, store and tack room, and a self-contained first-floor annexe.

It’s about an hour’s drive from central London, and it’s for sale with Savills for £3 million.
