Paddington Bear proved a big hit at the movie box office, with a sequel due out in November.

His “home” in pastel-painted Chalcot Crescent in Primrose Hill, north London, has been redecorated prior to the premiere and features in a teaser for Paddington 2, starring Ben Whishaw as the bear and Peter Capaldi as nasty neighbour Mr Curry.

Fans can rent a one-bedroom flat on the first floor of the Victorian house that was used as a film set for the new movie for £495 a week through Knight Frank.

A sunny bedroom with deep sash windows has a private balcony overlooking the gardens.

There is a fully fitted kitchen, modern bathroom and a bright and spacious reception room with high ceiling throughout.

Chalk Farm Tube station on the Northern line is close by and the flat is available either furnished or unfurnished.

Sadly, you cannot have Paddington as your roommate.
