A hit with the Rolling Stones: the Gasworks, a former celeb hotspot with royal connections, has been turned into luxury flats off Chelsea's New Kings Road

Formerly a favourite restaurant of celebrities, from the Rolling Stones to Princess Margaret, the Gasworks in Chelsea has been converted into luxury apartments.

The Gasworks restaurant off New Kings Road in SW6, for decades a favourite haunt of the glitterati from the Rolling Stones to Princess Margaret has been relaunched as homes.

With the famed Racing Green frontage replaced by a striking white façade, inside are two lateral two-bedroom flats, one with a west-facing roof terrace.

The location is handy for other established starry restaurants including Daphne’s and The Ivy Chelsea Garden.
